The Love and Logic® Institute, Inc., has created two parenting programs designed to take the stress out of parenting and raise the odds for more responsible children who are truly fun! ∞ “Becoming A Love and Logic Parent®” The “Becoming a Love and Logic Parent®” classes are designed for all ages, from 9-months to 18 years+. The class meets once/week for 6 weeks and focuses on helping parents to answer the following questions and many more: ¨ How do I get them out of bed on time to catch the school bus? ¨ How can I stop my children from bickering and fighting? ¨ How do I get my children to do chores without an argument? ¨ Is there a way to discipline in public without creating a scene? ¨ How can I get my teen to come home at the agreed-upon time? Class discussion and exercises are designed to create the best learning environment to meet the needs of the participants. ∞ “Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!®” The “Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!® Creating Happy Families and Responsible Kids: From Birth to Six” is a BRAND NEW program coming Fall 2005! This class meets once/week for 5 weeks and will focus on helping parents to teach young kids how to: ¨ Show their tots that whining and arguing does not pay ¨ Put an end to misbehavior in public ¨ Smooth-out mornings and bedtimes ¨ Calm sibling bickering and battles ¨ Take the battle out of meal times, tooth brushing, bathing, etc. ¨ Make potty training fun ¨ Teach respect, responsibility, and self-discipline Class discussion and exercises are designed to focus on this wonderful and challenging stage of childhood development. A heavy dose of humor is included! ∞ In each of the above classes, participants will see video presentations from the three founders, complete exercises designed to enhance learning, practice the techniques, solve problems and share experiences with other class members about specific parenting issues.
With an extensive lending library available through Advanced Parenting Concepts, parents can also review various Love and Logic® audio, video and print materials to enhance the learning process and address specific needs. Leah Wells will also share some stories of other Love and Logic® parents to help to provide some real-world examples of the Love and Logic® philosophy in action.
